When I look at this, I notice there are some similarities to Mogy64's artwork, most notably in the paint-like coloring style and the fine tuned/realisitc details in anatomy. While it might just be a coincidence and/or a sign of expert level artistic skills, I'm curious if there was any inspiration taken in regards to Mogy's work.

As for the picture itself, its really well done. What I think makes this unique is the attention to detail and objects in the back & foreground, especially with the robot in the reflection of the mirror.

thanks Sim! i like little details and fleshing them out is the best part! mogys a good friend of mine, tho im curious how painted backgrounds and anatomy details could be a staple of someone specific, but im just assuming youre used to seeing artists/pieces within a newgrounds frontpage basis mostly so i understand why youd make the association

Cornelius Fillmore. Is that you? (I think its just the glasses and angle the head was drawn at)

Jokes aside, I'm a fan of this design, portions seem in line and nothing feels out of place. Nice job.

I might just have EVE online on the brain, but watching this just makes me think back to how awe-inspiringly badass it is to to see a whole bunch of giantic and small ships traveling together at lightspeed. This though, brings in a whole atmosphere of warped color.

The red to blue is a nice touch along with the streaks of white, must of been real challenge to blend all that and make sure it came out just right. Especially on the finer details such as the shields, thrusters and lights.

Kamikaye responds:

Thanks a lot !! :) EVE is definetly one of the games that shows these things the best way. And served as an inspiration for this.

The way you draw eyes is unique compared to most artists [of similar style], and it really works for Pokemon or anything that needs a puppy eyed expression.

When I look at this Gif, I look at those eyes and how lively they are and how perfectly it complements the character. (Honestly, I don't know much about Latias, aside from that one pokemon movie that featured her, but hey I think its good enough).

If there's a flaw in here, I can't see it. I can see why its one of your favorites.

Loving the expressions and line work on this.

In before people ask you to do other operators.

Man, the coloring, the artwork style, the lighting and perspective. They all complement and help illustrate the scene so perfectly!

The angle and the lighting/shadows make all the action pop out, immediately catching your attention. This, this here, is Resident Evil at its essence.

Excellent work.

Wind Waker fanart with a dash of realistic proportions... AWESOME!

you got it

omg thats so cute

I have never thought an African Gray could look so cute in my entire life.

To be a bit critical however, since I am a former parrot owner, I think the torso feathers should be a bit more layered. The head is fine since its not as fluffy.

However, *looks at a photo of an African gray* You did capture the idea of how the feathers wrap around each other. So you did an ok job.

Jaw Dropping

You've done it again Mind Chamber, the shading, color and contrast and how precise the lines are, its flawless (or to my eyes at least)

and for those who are wondering who the Pink bot is, I did some digging on the forums and I think the names F-bot or "Fab-bot"

For a sketch this is well detailed

The detail you put into this is astonishing, although its grayscaled, you can tell where the lighting and how bright or dark the colors might be if this was colored. Which is very amazing.

I wish I could draw like that...

Kinsei responds:

Cool thanks,
I guess it came out well for a sudden hit of inspiration :P
