This Surpasses even Krinkels work

I gotta say, I definitely wasn't expecting your latest episode to be so mind blowing. The action, violence and character detail are so heavy that you don't even pay attention to how mediocre the backgrounds are (it took me 3 re-runs to notice that), don't get me wrong though, if you tried to make the backgrounds better you probably would of ended up ruining what really mattered, which is the madness.

I also liked the starting menu, the music gave it a totally badass feel getting you ready for the long road of violence ahead. What I found most intriguing however was how you wrote the descriptions for the characters in the bios section. Could Askad be making a come back in a future episode perhaps?

The voices were nicely done, although I thought they were unnecessary when you started auditions. Your final product proved me wrong since every characters voice almost fits how I imagined they would be. My only compliant regarding voices however is the Overseers, his voice seems a tad too young for his age, even though its mechanized. Your audio was well played, but glitchy, at first I was gonna deduct points for this, but since you commented that you can't do anything about it, I'll omit it.
As for the violence, it was f*cking epic, I was suprised that the minions still managed to put up a fight even after Omega and Xero got their new armor. (until the end that is, lol) another great feat is that you managed to use lots of tweens for animating. Which will show the FBF fans that good movies can also be made with tweens.
Overall, this is probably the greatest movie you have ever made on Newgrounds to date. Me and probably several others wish we could do what you pulled off this madness day. I hope the next episode is just as good as this.

Audio Portal?

Yes, I admit, the song was good but shouldn't something like this be on the audio portal?

Although I diddn't find it humorous

This movie covered quite a bit of what you guys were aiming for, you managed to use a lot of originality and the movie itself was quite entertaining.

Although I admire your frame by frame

Looking at your comments, I think you should try utilizing tweens where you can get away with them most. Although Frame by Frame is awesome, I don't think its necessary for every single little thing, especially when you can accomplish a similar or better effect in a shorter amount of time with tweens. This would allow you more time to deploy your talents on scenes that get more benefit from being done frame by frame

As for the movie itself, it was great, but when he looked in the mirror and asked "Am I getting younger?" I didn't really see anything that made him appear as though he was younger. That's the only thing I have to note about that.

Far too many referances...

I'll try to be lenient since your trying something new and reaching out to different audiences, but from my perspective, it your going a bit overboard. Although I did enjoy all the new content and superb voice acting. But there was so many references and parody's that it killed the originality and theme that got this movie started. Don't get me wrong though I still enjoyed this, but don't go with reference after reference after reference (which I feel you did with scenes 2, 3 and 4) try mixing it up a bit with some original ideas then a reference (like you did with scene 5 and later) and I think you'll do a lot better.

Informative

Although its educational, it was actually interesting/entertaining enough to keep me watching until the end.

The drawings were drawn very well and I loved the law and order reference... but the "its over 9000!" joke didn't really seem to fit in my opinion.
I dunno who did the voice but if you can get him on this site give him some credit, his voice fitted this movie so well, ITS AMAZING!
One thing I wanted to point out was.. the Russian winter didn't just chase Napoleon out of Russia, it also inflicted a lot of hurt on the Nazi's when they invaded Russia during world war 2 in operation Barbarossa. However since this movie is long enough as it is, I won't deduct any points for leaving that out.

What I would like to see though is a scene selection, since there are some funny moments in those cartoons you made, and I want to be able to go back and see them without watching the whole thing, as well as being able to recap some of the information there.

Overall, this is a great movie if you consider the lessons. Nice job

Funny

In a disturbing twisted way, nice job.

Looks decent

With the amount of length put into this movie, I can see why this took as long as it did, the movie seems pretty interesting, although the artwork is kinda odd, it seems to have a form of expression to it, can't really describe it. This appears to the start of something that has a lot of potential.

My only opinion on what should be improved on is the pacing of the movie, some scenes between the middle and the ending seemed to go a bit too fast to get a full grip of what was going on, so maybe decreasing the frame rate slightly at moments might make it better, just my opinon though.

Hope too see more.

Skaijo responds:

Actually it's the denouement of something that may have a lot of potential. This art style was great, but it inflates the file size pretty badly. I was fighting pretty hard just to keep this animation under 30 MB. I'd like to try an art style of BG's similar to Icycle--that video game that's on the front page right now. I found that especially attractive.

Not sure how to rate this... don't like the ending

Although this is badass... I'm not sure if the custom sprites/effects were created by you or not... (if they were I'd give a higher score for creativity) I enjoyed the fight scene but after the next chatting part, that music part seemed to drag on... and on.... and on... then as a reward for my waiting, I get a "the end"... I understand that this is a demo, but if your going to do something like that in the full version, you should work on shortening it or adding in the credits so we can get a clear impression that its over.

Can't wait to see the full version.

A tad too predictable

I saw the punchline in this movie coming from a mile away... Although the animation and drawings were really well done, the action was far too short to really enjoy. You might also want to work on the sound effects for the footsteps, sounds nothing like walking AT all.

Overall its ok, but not perfect.

DieterTheuns responds:

Most sound effects, including the footsteps were taken from internet though. I swear to God that was the best one out there : (

Thanks for the great review. ^^
